A Nice Haircut and Hairstyle
Goes a Long Way!
Welcome to Project Boaz: Grooming For Success (GFS)While working with various Back-to-School programs, Founder Dr. Darryl Claybon and the Project Boaz team appreciated the efforts of everyone in terms of providing Backpacks, Clothes, Shoes, and Schools Supplies for Students and Teachers. However, for students, haircuts and hairstyles are often overlooked.
The Team at Project Boaz believed that proper grooming wasn’t just about looking presentable; it also affected one’s self-esteem. We wanted children to have a quality haircut and hairstyling so they can feel good about themselves, inside and out. With that newfound self-confidence, they can excel in their studies and live happier lives!

How it works:
While visiting your local barbershop or Hair Salon, leave behind the price of
1 Child's Haircut or Hairstyle.
The Barber or Stylist will know which Child will benefit the most from a free haircut or hairstyle. The Barber or Stylist
can say it is an anonymous gift or it is from you, your corporation, charity, church, or organization.
Your gift will strengthen the confidence of the children, strengthen the confidence, of the Barbers and Stylists business, and strengthen the confidence of the community. You, your corporation, charity, church, or organization will initiate the gift of giving and empower both children and businesses in your local community.
See video below:

The Initiative
To make this vision come true, Project Boaz partners with various barbershops in the community to provide professional grooming services to children. Most of the funds used for this initiative comes from donations provided by corporations, charities, churches and organizations. Since we rely on the financial support of others to keep our operations going, we’re kindly seeking for your help!
"You or your organization," please donate the price of a child’s haircut or hairstyle to "your favorite barber shop or hair salon." If you do not know a Barber or Stylist, ask a friend or relative. Also, please feel free to purchase the book. A portion of the proceeds of the book's profits will be distributed to local communities with children who will benefit most from it.
Thank you for your generosity!
We will gladly assist you and your organization in getting started. Please note, we do not negotiate prices or agreements with Stylist or Barbers. This is a personal agreement between you, or your organization, and your Barber or Stylist. Barbers or Stylists enter into a agreement with you or your organization only.
Donations: Please send all donations to "your Barber or Stylist," this way the funds are spent in your community.

Visit the Services/Products page or the Contact page to learn how you can be part of our mission.
